Scattering of ashes in Springwood Woodland with memorial post

You must provide the certificate of cremation. You can upload a photo or scan of this below. However, you will still need to bring the original certificate on the day of the appointment, which we will retain.

The inscription for the woodland post will be the name of the deceased and the date of death. It will also feature a tree emblem. If you want to make any changes, for example, ‘do not use middle name on inscription’, please tell us.

I agree that the ashes of the deceased named in this application will be scattered within the woodland area of springwood crematorium, marked with a woodland post. 

The exact position will be agreed with the crematorium technician by appointment.
 
Only the applicant for cremation can request for remains to be ‘scattered’ in the chosen location. Remains cannot be exhumed from the gardens once scattered. 

The scattering of ashes in the woodland area does not constitute ownership of any area within the grounds.
